Since we know that the New English count (cotton count) is widely used to express the yarn count of any yarn or fabric. A yarn or fabric analyst always uses new English count formula to find the yarn count even after knowing that the yarn to be analysed is not cotton fibre. He determines the yarn count in New English count system. And converts the results according to the content present in the yarn.
