Double end:
A particular place on the fabric surface where the fabric has two ends together in place of one end is called the double end. It looks like thick end sometime. The sticking ends pass through the drop pin, heald wire, and dent of the reed. These sticking ends get woven with the fabric and generate double ends. Sometimes, coming short end or extra end is also gets woven with fabric and results in the form of a double end. Please see below graphic for double end.
