RIB WEAVE, WARP RIB, WEFT RIB, REGULAR RIB AND IRREGULAR RIB WEAVES


RIB WEAVES:

The rib weaves are the derivatives of the plain weave. The vertical or horizontal lines get appeared on the fabric surface when the rib weave is woven.  Rib weave is a very common weave. It can be woven on tappet, dobby, and jacquard. In this weave, one series of warp and one series of weft get used. This weave is a production-friendly weave. The ribbed fabric can be woven at very good efficiency and quality.
