HOPSACK WEAVE AND IT'S DERIVATIVES

HOPSACK WEAVE :

Hopsack weave is the derivatives of mat or basket weave. These weaves are simple weaves. These weave are constructed by modifying mat or barket weaves. These weaves  have less interlacing points. These weaves  have very good moisture absorbency. These weaves have softer feel. One series of warp and one series of weft get used to weave these weaves. These weaves are production friendly and can be woven efficiently. The some popular examples of hopsack weaves are given below:
